I was raised in a home where there was no filter, before the phrase "no filter". Momz was straight-up "Hard Words". She shot from the hip and told it like it was. No beating around the bush.. ..ever! I've never met anyone IN MY LIFE, that was more brutal with being direct, than my mother. And now, I tend to gravitate towards people who are brutally honest. And I wouldn't have it any other way.
